2014 Toronto: Zach Veach Indy Lights Practice Recap

Matthew Brabham, No. 83 United Fiber & Data/MAZDASPEED

• Finished the sole practice session of the day fourth fastest
"Toronto is a great track, and it hasn't really changed much since last year when we won in Pro Mazda; I'm looking to repeat that outcome this weekend with a win in Indy Lights. Our practice session today went pretty well, as I think I jumped to the top of the time charts straight away. We made a lot of changes as the session went on, which was good because we learned a lot. Hopefully we can carry that forward to tomorrow. The United Fiber & Data/MAZDASPEED team ended up fourth quickest... it's not too bad, and we weren't too far from the front of the pack. We've got some work to do, and we're going to be working hard at it."

Zach Veach, No. 26 RePLAY XD

• RePLAY XD driver finished today's practice on the 1.75-mile circuit in the sixth position
"We've got a little bit of work to do. I think we wanted to try some things coming in since it was just the first session, so I think we know which way we want to go now. We didn't want to be as far back as we were today, but I'm confident the RePLAY XD/Andretti Autosport guys will help me figure it out and be back at the front tomorrow."
