· Getting Dirty: The race will be a chance for Larson to return to his racing roots. Although he has only raced in the NCWTS on six previous occasions, Larson has logged countless laps on dirt tracks all across the country. The Northern California native began racing on dirt tracks when he was seven, and continued to race midget and sprint cars on dirt tracks until moving up this season to the NSCS and stepping into the No. 42 Target Chevrolet for TCGRFS. The NCWTS race will mark the fifth racing series in which Larson has raced this year. In addition to being a regular in the NSCS, he also races all companion NASCAR Nationwide Series events, and has raced in one ARCA and one NASCAR K&N Pro Series West event. Larson has top-five finishes in each series in which he has raced this year, and has a win in each series except the NSCS, where his highest finish to date is second.

· A Winning Combination: Larson will be paired with veteran Truck Series crew chief Mike Hillman, Jr. for the Eldora race. Hillman has won 2 NCWTS championships and has a total of 20 wins, 89 top-five and 124 top-10 finishes in 10 years as a crew chief in the series. Although Hillman and Larson have not won together in a truck, the pair did make it into victory lane at Sonoma when Larson won the K&N Pro Series West race.

· Larson on the Track: Kyle Larson currently sits 14th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) standings, and has a 28-point lead in the Rookie of the Year standings. Through 19 races this season, Larson has four top-five and eight total top-10 finishes in NSCS races. He also has two wins in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS), in addition to 10 top-five finishes. Larson also has a win in both the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Larson has a total of six starts in the NCWTS, with three top-five finishes, five top-10 finishes, and a win in 2013 at Rockingham. The win was Larson’s first in one of NASCAR’s national touring series.

Quote Board:

Paul Hollis, Director of Sales, Clorox: “Clorox is proud to once again sponsor Kyle Larson’s truck for the Mudsummer Classic at Eldora, this year with our Glad brand. Kyle gave the crowd a great show last year in the Clorox truck, and I’m sure he’ll do the same this year. NASCAR continues to be a great venue for us to showcase our many brands, and we enjoy being a part of a sport that has such a passionate fan base, many of whom will be at Eldora. Kyle’s already won once in a Clorox car this season, so hopefully he can do so again with the Glad truck.”

Steve Lauletta, President, Chip Ganassi Racing Teams: “Anyone who knows Kyle knows he is passionate about dirt track racing, both as a driver and a fan. Although the busy Cup schedule doesn’t allow much time for him to get on dirt tracks, the team is happy we were able to work with Clorox and their brand Glad to get Kyle the opportunity to race back at Eldora. I’m sure no one will be more ‘Glad’ than Kyle to compete in this year’s Mudsummer Classic.”

Kyle Larson, Driver, No. 32 Glad Chevrolet Silverado: “Last year at Eldora was a blast, so I’m really looking forward to running the truck race again this year. It was a race that I looked forward to right when it was announced last year, and then to get to race it and see how well the show was run and how great the racing was has made me even more excited for this year. I don't get to do a whole lot of dirt racing anymore, so that makes it fun, too.”
