This Week's Moen/Menards Chevrolet at Indianapolis Motor Speedway ... Kiss The Bricks ... Indianapolis Motor Speedway will always be a special place for Menard as he will return to the site of his first-career Sprint Cup Series victory this weekend. The Wisconsin native made history in 2011, becoming the first driver to earn his first-career Sprint Cup Series win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Brickyard 400. After growing up watching his father's IndyCar teams race at the storied 2.5-mile speedway, the win proved to be extra special to Menard and his family after having a presence at the track for more than 35 years.

Menard at Indy ... Menard's first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory came at this prestigious event in 2011. The Eau Claire, Wis., driver has six additional NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with an average starting position of 23.6 and an average finish of 18.7. The Richard Childress Racing driver has completed 96.1 percent of the laps around the 2.5-mile track. In addition, Menard has two NASCAR Nationwide Series starts amassing two top-10 finishes and completing 100 percent of laps raced.

About Moen ... As the #1 faucet brand in North America, Moen offers a diverse selection of thoughtfully designed kitchen and bath faucets, showerheads, accessories, bath safety products and kitchen sinks for residential and commercial applications each delivering the best possible combination of meaningful innovation, useful features, and lasting value. Season-to-date ... Through the first 19 Sprint Cup Series races of the 2014 season, Menard has completed 5,386 of 5,511 laps contested (97.7 percent), led 45 laps and is currently 10th in the driver point standings.

Double Duty ... In addition to driving the No. 27 Moen/Menards Chevrolet SS in Sunday afternoon's race, Menard will pilot the No. 33 NIBCO/Menards Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event on Saturday afternoon. This race is scheduled to air live on ESPN at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, along with SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.

What's Your Point ... After finishing 19th at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Menard moved up in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver championship point standings and sits 11th, only eight markers out of 10th, heading into Indianapolis this weekend.

Looking Back ... Menard qualified 23rd for last year's race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The No. 27 Chevrolet team battled a loose-handling car throughout the beginning of the event, but was able to rally towards the front finishing the event in 12th.

Indy has an extra special meaning for you, what's it like going back there?
"Indy is the greatest race track in the world. It's the one I circle every year, even before I won there. I spent a lot of time there as a kid watching IndyCar races. I was at the inaugural Brickyard 400. The track holds a special meaning to me for sure."

Do you appreciate the history of Indy now that you're an adult?
"At one point I could name every Indy 500 winner from 1911 through probably the mid-90's. I've forgotten most of them now but could still probably name quite a few. I was and still am a big history geek. I love history, especially at Indianapolis."
