Nico Verdonck On 3rd Row For The Start Of The 24 Hours Of Spa!

Following Thursday’s brilliant free practice sessions, during which the Mercedes HTP Motorsport bearing # 84 proved to be the fastest, it will be taking the start of this gruelling and longest race of the Blancpain Endurance Series from 7th place (and from 3rd row) of the grid.

Nico Verdonck will be taking the first stint as from 16.30hrs!

Nico Verdonck: “Bernd produced some great lap times during qualifying. He hasn’t lost any of his speed even though he’s just celebrated his 50th birthday. We’re a pretty homogenous team and are undoubtedly amongst the fastest. The car has been prepared to perfection. The team working on it have performed an excellent job. In fact we’re taking on this race under excellent conditions. I’m delighted to be taking the start from the 3rd row of the grid in 7th starting position. Anything can happen over 24 hours, and everything still needs to be done! This is true endurance racing! On top of that the weather forecast is for a mixture of dry and humid conditions. We’re in for some great sports! “
