A Special Honor … The #50 will sport a special paint scheme this week in support of the Fallen Linemen Organization. The names of those linemen who were killed during 2013 while working as a hard working dedicated electrical linemen are listed on the bed of the truck to pay tribute to the price they paid. The Fallen Linemen Organization (FLO) is a 501(c)3 non-profit created to memorialize fallen electrical line workers, and care for the families who have lost or are impacted by a severe injury of a loved one in the line of duty. We strive to consolidate accident and injury information to share openly for a safer work environment. FLO has a traveling memorial that we take to events and speaking engagements to memorialize all electrical line workers, and we are in the process of finding a permanent home for the permanent memorial. It is our goal to educate the public about the electrical line industry and the dangers of the job.

This Week's Silverado...The No. 50 Fallen Linemen Organization team will unload the chassis named “Maxwell” for this weekend's race at Iowa. Maxwell is a new chassis or as we like to call them “pigs” in our pen.

Drivin for Linemen... The Drivin’ For Linemen campaign, is the brainchild of a former electrical linemen. His concern and priority is to honor all electrical linemen, past, present, future, and fallen. He is committed to the cause of raising the awareness of what linemen do and how we wouldn’t have one of our most basic necessities now without them. The linemen work around the clock risking their lives in good and bad weather. They are now listed as a first responder. The Drivin’ For Linemen banner is carried out through the MAKE Motorsports team along with the Drivin’ for linemen 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park.

Watch and Listen...The Pocono Mountains 150 can be seen live on Saturday, August 2th on FOX Sports 1. Race coverage will begin at 12:30 p.m. EDT, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap...Bell took the green flag from the 15th spot at the famous Eldora Speedway, this being the best qualifying and starting position for the MAKE team. TJ Bell fought finding forward drive the entire night on the dirt surface but raced like a dirt veteran. The team rounded out the night in the 21st position.

TJ Bell on Racing at Pocono Raceway: “It’s an extreme honor to be able to recognize these guy on my truck this weekend. They gave their lives for us to be able to take for granted our power. This is the very least that we can do. After going to the Elite Training Center I realized how tough and dangerous there jobs are along with the brotherhood in the industry. I am very honored to be able to race with them on this truck dedicated to them and their families.”
