· The Car

o The No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes team unloads Chassis RK-753 for the second time this season. This is the same chassis that the team raced earlier this season at Road America, where Reed spent the majority of the day racing inside the top-10, before an untimely caution left the team in 21st.

· Double Duty

o In order to gain some additional seat time at Watkins Glen, Reed will also participate in the K&N Pro Series East Race. The Bully Hill Vineyards 125 will take the green flag at 6:15 pm ET on Aug. 8. Reed will race the No. 99 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop Diabetes presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Fusion for Bill McAnally Racing.

· Recapping Iowa

o Reed rallied to a 15th-place finish in his No. 16 Ford Mustang in his second NNS start at Iowa Speedway after battling a car that was loose on entry and tight on exit for the majority of the race.

Reed on racing at Watkins Glen:

“Our Drive to Stop Diabetes Mustang was really fast in the first road course race of the season at Road America. This is the same car we raced there, so I’m really optimistic for this weekend. I’ll be racing in the K&N race on Friday, to get some extra seat time and hopefully get up to speed quicker.”
