A late race caution found Ranger beating Cole Custer on the final restart to The Glen finish line. The two battled it out until Heckert found an opening, passing both drivers on the final lap exiting Turn 1.

Custer lost control of his No. 00 Chevrolet exiting the final turn, hitting the sand barrels at the entrance of Pit Road to finish 16th.

NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Championship point leader Ben Rhodes finished third in the Bully Hill Vineyards 125. Kenzie Ruston posted a top-10 finish in her No. 96 Bully Hill Vineyards Chevrolet.

Friday’s race marks the return of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East to The Glen since 2009. Watkins Glen International is one of only two road courses on the 16 event schedule.
