Head For The Hills...The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to the Irish Hills of Michigan for the Careers for Veterans 200 at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). Hornaday has 10 previous starts at the 2.0-mile D-shaped oval, with a best finish of fourth in 2010. In the 1,004 laps run in the last 10 events at MIS, Hornaday has turned all but four, giving him a laps completed ratio of 99.6-percent.

Taking Stock...With the first half of the 2014 season behind him, Hornaday has racked up some strong stats. In the first 11 races of the 22-race season, the California native has earned three top fives, eight top 10s and led 85 laps, giving him an average finish of 9.2 and the fourth spot in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings.

Gotta Have a Rheem...Rheem is privately held with headquarters in Atlanta and U.S. operations in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas. In its 89th year of operation, the company is a global manufacturer of residential and commercial heating and cooling systems; tank, tankless, solar and hybrid heat pump water heaters; whole-home standby generators, controls, swimming pool and spa heaters; indoor air-purification products; commercial boilers; and commercial refrigeration equipment. The company's premium brands include Rheem, Raypak, Ruud and Richmond, as well as commercial refrigeration brands Russell, Witt, ColdZone and Kramer, which are part of the company's Heat Transfer Products Group (HTPG) division. Rheem products have been recognized with countless industry and consumer awards for reliability, innovative design and high quality.

This Week's Silverado...The No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products team will unload chassis TSM-602 for this weekend's race at Michigan International Speedway. This is the same truck that Tayler Malsam drove to a fifth-place finish at Kansas Speedway earlier this year.

Previous Race Recap...Hornaday made his fifth NCWTS start at Pocono Raceway, looking for his first win at one of the few tracks he had yet to conquer. After top-15 times in the weekend's two practice sessions, Hornaday made it to the second round of knockout qualifying in the No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products Chevy, earning the 14th starting spot. After several late-race cautions leading to an overtime green/white/checkered shootout, Hornaday was able to work his way up from 15th in the closing laps to take the checkered flag in the seventh position for Turner Scott Motorsports.

Watch and Listen...The Careers for Veterans 200 can be seen live on Saturday, August 16 at 12:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Ron Hornaday Jr. on Racing at Michigan International Speedway
"Michigan is one of those places I'd really like to conquer. I've been consistent there in the past, but never really dominated a race. I know that Turner Scott Motorsports has run really well at Michigan in the past and this No. 30 team has been in victory lane there before. Hopefully we can have a strong run and mark this track off the list of places I haven't won yet."

Ben Kennedy
No. 31 Heater.com Silverado
Michigan International Speedway - Careers For Veterans 200
August 20, 2014

Pure Michigan...The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) officially enters the second half of the 2014 season as the series heads to Michigan International Speedway for race 12 of 22. This will be Ben Kennedy's first start at the 2.0-mile D-shaped oval, but the Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) organization is no stranger to victory lane in Michigan, holding the title of the defending race winner of the past two events. The No. 31 team took the trophy at the track in 2013 with James Buescher behind the wheel, while Nelson Piquet Jr. became the first Brazilian to win a NCWTS race when he captured the victory in 2012.

Mirror Driving...With one half of the 2014 season behind him, Kennedy and the No. 31 team can be proud of their accomplishments in the first half of the year. In 11 events, Kennedy has earned one pole (Daytona), one top five, five top 10s, and led 58 laps, putting him seventh in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings. The Daytona Beach native has also led the Sunoco Rookie of the Year standings since the second race of the season in Martinsville on the strength of being the top-finishing rookie in seven events.

Feel The Heat...Heater.com will once again be aboard the No. 31 Chevrolet Silverado. Heater.com is a world-leading heating product online retailer. The site features a wide variety of indoor and outdoor heating products to meet everyone's needs. Heater.com gives consumers key information in the form of pictures, text and video allowing them to make the most informed buying decision. Heater.com is the "One Stop Shop for ALL Things Heating!" For more information, visit the company's web site at www.heater.com.

This Week's Silverado...Kennedy and the No. 31 Heater.com crew will utilize chassis TSM-214 this week at Michigan International Speedway. The truck known to TSM as "Honey Badger" is a favorite of the No. 31 crew after it was driven to victory in all four of James Buescher's wins in 2012 on the way to taking the NCWTS title. Kennedy most recently ran this chassis at Dover International Speedway, where he captured a seventh-place finish.

Watch and Listen...The Careers for Veterans 200 can be seen live on Saturday, August 16 at 12:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap...Kennedy had an impressive first outing at the Tricky Triangle, leading laps and running in the front of the field for much of the Pocono Mountains 150. After two very strong practice sessions and a fourth-place starting spot, Kennedy was in the top 10 for much of the 150-mile event, leading six laps and ultimately bringing home a 13th-place finish at Pocono Raceway, earning Sunoco Rookie of the Race honors for the seventh time in 2014.

Ben Kennedy on Michigan International Speedway:
"I'm really looking forward to getting on track for practice in Michigan. This is one track I've never been on in any series, not even for a test or anything. Everyone talks about how fast the track is and how much grip it has now because of the repave. It's challenging anytime you go to a place for the first time, because you have to learn it so quickly, but it can also be really fun."

Tayler Malsam
No. 32 Outerwalll Silverado
Michigan International Speedway - Careers For Veterans 200
August 20, 2014

Returning with a Mission...After a lengthy break from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), Tayler Malsam returns to the No. 32 Outerwall Chevrolet for an afternoon of racing at Michigan International Speedway. Malsam will make his second-career NCWTS start at Michigan after nearly scoring a top-five finish in his track debut in 2009, ultimately finishing sixth. With the wheel back in his hands, Malsam and his Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) team are on a mission for redemption this weekend.

This Week's Silverado...
Crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. and the No. 32 TSM team will unload a familiar chassis this weekend in Michigan. Having only seen the track once this year at Charlotte Motor Speedway, TSM-605 made its debut last season at the fall race at Texas Motor Speedway, where it claimed the pole, followed by a third-place finish at the NCWTS finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Let's Go...This week at Michigan, the No. 32 will sport the colors of Outerwall for the seventh of 12 races this year. As the company that brought consumers Redbox® entertainment, Coinstar® money services, and ecoATM® electronics recycling kiosks, Outerwall is leading the next generation of automated retail. With more than 20 years of experience, the company mission is to create a better everyday by delivering breakthrough kiosk experiences that delight consumers and generate revenue for retailers.

Previous Race Recap...The No. 32 truck was last on track at Pocono Raceway as TSM driver Kyle Larson tried to tame the Tricky Triangle. Prior to the start of the Pocono Mountains 150, Larson topped the speed charts and swept the weekend's qualifying sessions, claiming his first-career NCWTS and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole awards. Continuing to be impeccably fast, Larson led 21 of 60 laps before an engine issue at the halfway mark took the No. 32 Cartwheel by Target Chevrolet out of contention, resulting in an 18th-place finish.

Watch and Listen...Don't miss any of the action as the NCWTS returns to the track at Michigan International Speedway. The Careers for Veterans 200 can be seen live on Saturday, August 16 beginning at 12:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The race can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Tayler Malsam on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
"I'm excited to get back behind the wheel of the No. 32 truck this weekend. I've had some luck in Sprint Cars while I've been away from the truck, so I hope I can carry some of that with me this weekend. I like racing at Michigan; the track is wide and you can really race with people. My Turner Scott Motorsports team and I are more determined than ever to turn this season around. I know what we're capable of; I'm ready to get back out there."
