· 1,000th Win for Ford

o Biffle claimed the 1,000th NASCAR win for Ford with his victory at Michigan in the spring of 2013. The win made Father’s Day extra special for Biffle since he was able to celebrate with his daughter in victory lane.

· ROUSH Performance Parts

o Created in 1995, ROUSH Performance Products combines race-proven technologies with advanced automotive engineering to continually provide customers the ultimate driving experience - the perfect combination of racecar and road car.

· Michigan Roots

o Justin Hines, engine tuner for the No. 16 Ford, is originally from Garden City, Michigan. Hines started working at Roush Industries in Michigan at the engine shop back in 1994 before moving to North Carolina in 2002 and working for Jack’s race teams. Hines was the engine tuner for Greg’s rookie year in the Cup Series.

Biffle on Michigan:
“I’m really excited about going to Michigan. We’ve been doing a tremendous amount of testing and working very hard at Roush Fenway to catch up with some of the other teams, so our most recent week off we tested at Michigan and felt like we found a lot of speed that we were missing. We didn’t really carry it through to Indy like we thought, but some of it carried through to Pocono and as we look at that and improve on that we’re pretty optimistic going to Michigan that we’re gonna be one of the competitive cars and challenging for the win.”

Puccia on Michigan:
“I’m looking forward to going to Michigan this weekend. It’s always great to go back to Ford’s backyard and always special to run good there because it’s Jack’s backyard. We identified some stuff that we needed to work on after the first race and took the opportunity to use one of our NASCAR tests to go up there and improve our program. We are looking to get a good run and get us our first win of the season this weekend in Michigan.”
