"We are starting to achieve the results we knew we were capable of at the start of the season. We just have to keep digging. I have raced at Milwaukee in both Champ Cars and Indy cars and have won there before. We didn't test there, but I am confident that we can have a strong performance in the Mistic - E-Cigs car.'

• The 2014 ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 will be Bourdais' 129th Verizon IndyCar Series start, 20th on an oval, 16th with KVSH Racing and sixth at the Milwaukee Mile (Champ Car, 4; IndyCar 1).
• Of Bourdais 19 career oval starts, 10 have come in the last two years.
• Bourdais has made 12 IndyCar oval starts with a best qualifying of fourth at Fontana in 2013 and a best finish of seventh this year in the Indianapolis 500.
• Bourdais made seven oval starts in Champ Cars earning four victories: Lausitz in 2003, Las Vegas in 2004, 2005, and Milwaukee 2006.
• In five previous starts at Milwaukee, Bourdais has two top-10 finishes (both in Champ Cars) including a win from the pole in 2006 (finished ninth in 2003)
• Bourdais is contesting his ninth Verizon IndyCar Series season (Champ Car, 5: IndyCar, 4).
• Bourdais is the only driver to win four consecutive championships, taking the Champ Car World Series title in 2004 - 2007.
• In 128 career Verizon IndyCar Series starts, Bourdais has won 32 races placing him eighth on the all-time list and earned 33 pole positions, tied for seventh all-time.
• Bourdais contested 27 Formula One races (2008-2009)
• Bourdais, 35, is a native of Le Mans, France but resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.

SEBASTIAN SAAVEDRA

NO. 17 AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLERS, INC. - KV AFS RACING CHEVROLET/DALLARA/FIRESTONE

ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 at Milwaukee IndyFest - August 16-17, 2014
KV AFS Racing's Sebastian Saavedra was having a fantastic race two weeks ago at Mid-Ohio. He moved up eight positions in 16 laps and was running in sixth place, with the fastest lap of the race, when a few laps later, he reported a problem and was forced to retire. Saavedra is 21st in the standings with 239 points.

"After a much needed week off to recover, I'm really looking forward to going back to Milwaukee. It's another short oval that I enjoy and have had success in the past in Indy Lights and last year I had my best IndyCar qualifying attempt there with a sixth place so I'm not only looking do a good job, but to improve it and we showed we had that strong pace in Iowa. It is a different short oval but still has the same dynamic, so we are going to try and continue that same path. Three races to go and after some unlucky events in the past races I think things are finally going to turn around and I'm looking forward to it."

• Saavedra is in his fifth Verizon IndyCar Series season.
• The 2014 ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 will be Saavedra's 54th Verizon IndyCar Series start, 21st on an oval, 16th with KV AFS Racing and third at the Milwaukee Mile.
• In 53 career Verizon IndyCar Series starts, Saavedra has earned three top-10 finishes with a best finish of eighth at Baltimore last year.
• In 20 previous IndyCar oval starts, Saavedra has a career best finish of 13th and a best start of sixth both at Milwaukee last year.
• Saavedra's best road/street course qualifying was at the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis this year where he earned his first IndyCar career pole.
• Saavedra, 24, is a native of Bogota, Columbia. He currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.
