This is also his first victory and first top-10 finish in six races at Michigan International Speedway. Sauter has now won at least one race in six consecutive seasons. The all-time record is eight, by Dennis Setzer.

Today's average speed was 161.110 mph, the fastest average speed in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history. The previous record was 154.737 mph at Texas Motor Speedway on November 2, 2012 (also won by Sauter).

Ron Hornaday Jr. and his No. 30 Rheem Chevrolet posted his seventh top-10 finish in 11 races at Michigan International Speedway.

Tayler Malsam and his No. 32 Outerwall Chevrolet finished fourth with Kyle Busch and his No. 51 ToyotaCare Toyota rounding out the top five.
