2014 Michigan II: NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results - Gordon, Chevrolet Win!

Jeff Gordon and his No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet won the 45th Annual Pure Michigan 400 , his 91st victory in 748 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his third victory and 16th top-10 finish in 2014. This is his first three-win season since 2011. This is also his third victory and 27th top-10 finish in 44 races at Michigan International Speedway.

Finishing second, Kevin Harvick and his No. 4 Jimmy John's Chevrolet posted his 12th top-10 finish in 28 races at Michigan International Speedway. It is his 12th top-10 finish in 2014.

Coming home third, Joey Logano and his No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford posted his seventh top-10 finish in 12 races at Michigan International Speedway.

Paul Menard and his No. 27 CertainTeed/Menards Chevrolet was fourth with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his No. 88 National Guard Chevrolet rounding out the top five.

Jeff Gordon leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings by 3 points over Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Assuming they attempt to qualify for the remaining 3 races in the regular season, the following drivers have clinched a spot for the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup today: AJ Allmendinger, Aric Almirola, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin.
