Goodyear, NASCAR West
David Mayhew only had to lead one lap and that’s what he did. Mayhew grabbed the lead of the NAPA Auto Parts/Toyota 150 on the final lap and won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at Evergreen Speedway by a narrow margin.

Like every driver in the event, Mayhew raced on Goodyear Eagle bias-ply tires. Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier for NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East and West, as well as for the Canadian Tire Series. The racing circuits share common rules and Goodyear supplies tires for all three from the same product line.

Mayhew edged Brandon McReynolds by just .196 of a second at the finish. Dylan Lupton was third, James Bickford took fourth and Giles Thornton came home fifth. The winner averaged 65.517 mph for the 150-lap race around Evergreen’s famous .64-mile oval. The event was slowed by just 14 laps of caution.

Greg Pursley leads the standings with 422 points. Lupton is second with 397.

Goodyear employs about 69,000 people at manufacturing plants and facilities in 22 nations. Based in Akron, Ohio, Goodyear is among the largest tiremakers in the world and is the worldwide leader in race tire innovation.
