This Richard Childress Racing-prepared Chevrolet Camaro has seen track action four previous times this season with Gaughan. Gaughan's Stats at Bristol Motor Speedway ... Gaughan will make his seventh Nationwide Series start at the half-mile track on Friday night. In his six previous starts the Las Vegas-native has led 16 laps, earned a pole award and one top-10 finish. Gaughan averages a starting position of 18th and finish of 19.3-place. The 39-year-old driver also has eight starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Thunder Valley, where he has accumulated three top-five finishes and led 39 laps.

So Far in 2014 ...With only 11 races remaining in the 2014 season, Gaughan has recorded one win at Road America in June and led a total of 22 laps. He has accumulated one top-five and four top-10 finishes and the RCR driver averages a starting position of 13.3 and finish of 15.9 place.

South Point Hotel & Casino ... Featuring more than 2,100 guestrooms, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa overlooks the famous Las Vegas Strip and the serenity of the surrounding mountainscape. Guests will experience affordable luxury through a casino offering top-of-the-line gaming technology, more than 60 table games and a race and sports book area featuring separate viewing areas for both horse racing and general sporting events; a wide variety of dining options, including the award-winning Michael's Gourmet Room; a 16-screen Cinemark movie complex; a state-of-the-art, 64-lane bowling center; and a 165,000-square foot convention center. In the Rearview Mirror: Mid-Ohio ... The No. 62 Allie Norman / South Point Chevrolet qualified seventh for the Nationwide Children's Hospital 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. After going off course on lap 37, Gaughan was able to recover and take over the lead on lap 61. The South Point Camaro accumulated grass on the grille with less than 10 laps to go, causing the Chevrolet to push water. This resulted in an unscheduled pit stop with eight laps remaining and the No. 62 team crossed the finish line in the 20th position.

To the Points ...Gaughan is eighth in the driver point standings as the Nationwide Series heads into Friday night's race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Is Bristol Motor Speedway different to race under the lights?
"The track itself isn't different, but the feel of you being at Thunder Valley under the lights just adds a lot of excitement. It is one heck of a race. It is exactly how they market it, a Colosseum. We race like chariots with the spikes coming out. It is not that it is any different, but it is just a fun race."

How intense is it behind the wheel at Bristol?
"Bristol is much more demanding than many other places. There are a lot more G-forces and many different lines you can run now. It is an extremely physically demanding race track, but that is what makes it so much fun for us."
