After Best Finish of Season Armstrong Looks to Carry Momentum into Bristol

Coming off his best finish of 2014, and his career-best NASCAR Nationwide Series finish, Dakoda Armstrong looks to carry that momentum to one of the toughest short tracks on the circuit, Bristol Motor Speedway.

Despite a 24th-place finish in March at the.533-mile track, Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team have more experience under their belt. It's been 18 races since the team's last visit to Bristol, having accumulated over 2,885 laps just during race events, not including practices and qualifying. The No. 43 Ford team feels that their growth in knowledge and communication through the season will help them earn another Top-10 this weekend.

In addition to Armstrong's Nationwide start earlier this year, he also has two Camping World Truck Series starts at the .533-mile track. He earned his best finish of 18th in the 2013 truck event.

"After our finish there in March, we realized we had a lot to work on before we went back at the end of the summer. I think we've grown as a team since then. If you think about it, that was the fourth race of the season and the guys were still getting to know my driving style and I was still learning these cars. Now that we're 22 races into the season I feel pretty confident about going back to Bristol.

"Especially this week, coming off of our best finish of the season, I'm excited to get back in the car and get another Top-10. Once you get a good finish it gives everyone a lot of confidence. I have more confidence too. It's just a good feeling for our team."
