“ In keeping with another tradition the Spa Six Hours blithely goes beyond being a mere simple sporting event, Alain Defalle commented. Over the years the collaboration with the Fédération Belge des Véhicules Anciens has grown, and this year the renowned Eau Rouge lounges will officially become the ‘Maison FBVA’, which will welcome its numerous members and guests. But that’s not all, as in addition to the traditional village in the heart of the endurance paddock, track time will exceptionally be made available to members of the FBVA giving them the opportunity to discover or become reacquainted with the Francorchamps circuit at the wheel of their Classic Car. And for a fact they are numerous. On Thursday 18th September, between 18.00hrs and 19.30hrs, all correctly registered cars at least 25 years old will be able to take to the track, whilst on the following day, namely Friday 19th September the spotlight will focus on the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, with a true American parade as from 17.00hrs. Persons interested in taking part in one of these sessions should register now via the www.spasixhours.com website.
