2014 Bristol II: Michael Annett NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Preview

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie Michael Annett will make his second visit this season to the treacherous half-mile Bristol Motor Speedway this Saturday night for one of the most exciting events on the NASCAR calendar.

Annett, in his No. 7 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet SS, previously competed at Bristol last March, finishing 26th. It was his first Cup Series race at the facility after averaging a finish of 14th in nine prior NASCAR Nationwide Series starts there. In his final four Nationwide Series starts on the half-mile, he finished no worse than 11th.

Saturday night's race will air live on at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on ABC.

NEW PARTNERS ON THE CAR... Trucking Moves America Forward, a movement to create a positive image for the trucking industry, and Electronic Funds Source (EFS), a leading provider of innovative and customized corporate payment technology solutions, will adorn Annett's Chevrolet SS as associate partners for the remainder of the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, starting this weekend at Bristol.

"Last time out at Bristol, our splitter hit the track for what seemed like the last 200 laps. We've made some tweaks to that setup, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they change the feel. The Night Race at Bristol was always appointment viewing every summer when I was a kid, so to go there and actually take part in the event will be a thrill."
