Scott Speed, No. 77 7UP Volkswagen Polo
• The No. 77 7UP, United Fiber & Data Volkswagen finished P10 in today's sixth round of the Red Bull Global Rallycross Series

"These last few races have just not been going our way. Today was extremely frustrating for the 7UP Volkswagen. After the warm-up this morning, we found another mechanical issue which we rushed to get fixed and then in the semifinals we suffered a DNF because of an incident with a couple other cars. I cannot thank the Andretti Rallycross crew enough, that car took a beating these past couple days and we still managed to make it into the finals. The finals may not have gone our way, but now we have some time to test and make repairs before we head to the doubleheader in Los Angeles."

Tanner Foust, No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen Polo
• Foust finished sixth in today's SuperCar final around the .924-mile venue in Daytona
• Foust spun into the tire barriers by Turn 1 before the final semifinal lap, the No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen recovered and was able to steal the third place position

"Long race to end a long weekend. I battled up through the semifinals and I ended up in third place. After the fourth lap, I had a little contact which ended with me spinning into the tires and I ended up braking the right rear suspension on the Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen. To be honest, the whole final was absolute mayhem. At one point, I couldn't see the jump at all because of the dirt and I almost drove into the barrier before the jump. There were so many cars waiting to turn into the hairpins, nose to tail, so cars were just filling any space they could find. Daytona International Speedway is an interesting place to race, first of all we hit it on the three hottest days of the year which made it a challenge for drivers' and cars', but the great thing about Daytona is not just the venue, it's that the people are motorsports fans here. So if there is an event at the track, then the fans show up and watch. We had a lot of first-time fans for rallycross which is great for the sport overall."
