Justin Boston (Jboss) Celebrates Second 2014 Win In ARCA Racing Series

Professional stock car driver Justin Boston (Venturini Motorsports No. 25 ZLOOP/JACO Environmental Toyota) celebrated his second victory in the 2014 ARCA Racing Series season at Madison International Speedway on Sunday.

The 24-year old, 2013 Rookie Of The Year, Boston, took the lead at lap 171 at the Herr's Live Life with Flavor 200 when race leader Grant Enfinger suffered mechanical failure and stopped on the track to bring out the final caution flag of the day. At the race restart, point leader Mason Mitchell got the jump but experienced electrical issues giving Boston the lead. Boston remained unchallenged through the duration of the race.

“The green flag run was really tough! I followed the 98 car for a long time just waiting for an opportunity to get by--racing always has a way of evening things out over time and that's what happened for us today. I knew we'd have the chance to win another before the season ended,” Boston said in victory lane.

Boston's victory comes at the conclusion of a seven-day stretch that began last Sunday, August 17 on the dirt at Springfield; his schedule then moved to the concrete high-banks at Bristol and concluded with a “JBoss Win” in Madison, WI.

“It's been a great week,” Boston added. “Although we didn't get the finish we thought we should have, we had a great car at Springfield. We learned a lot in our Truck Series debut at Bristol, and we anticipate going back to run some more truck races later in the season. We've had such great cars in the ARCA Racing Series all season long. We have four more races yet to go (a dirt track, a short track and two mile-and-halfs) and I think we have a good chance to win them all.”

Yesterday’s win is a second to compliment Boston’s promising 2014 season stats. He celebrated his first place finish at Toledo Speedway and has five Top-5 and nine Top-10 finishes to date. Highlighted by his performance at the two high-banked half-miles in ARCA Series runs at Salem and Winchester earlier in the season, JBoss has demonstrated his ability to run well on short tracks. His 2014 successes follow suit to support his entry into the sport.

Boston will drive the No. 25 ZLOOP/JACO Environmental Toyota Camry in the Southern Illinois 100 on the mile-dirt at the Southern Illinois State Fairgrounds in DuQuoin, IL on Monday, September 1, 2014. The green flag is scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Eastern. The race can be heard live on the ARCA Racing Network on ARCARacing.com.
