2014 NHRA: US Nationals Could See First Brandsource Win With Force Four-Peat

All season long John Force Racing and BrandSource have been showering NHRA fans across the country with washer & dryer sets and flat screen TVs through the BrandSource “Win with Force” promotion. To date JFR drivers have been No. 1 qualifier ten times and have put a race car in the NHRA winner’s circle ten times. Mello Yello points leader John Force has won three times and been No. 1 qualifier five times with his Castrol GTX High Mileage Ford. Robert Hight and the Auto Club Mustang have been in five winner’s circles and been No. 1 qualifier once. The Traxxas Ford Mustang and Courtney Force have two wins and three No. 1s followed by sister Brittany Force and the Castrol EDGE Top Fuel dragster with three No. 1 qualifiers, twice this season Brittany and Courtney have shared the No.1 qualifier stage.

This weekend there is a chance for four different fans over three days of racing to walk away a winner at the 60th annual Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals. If John Force defeats Ron Capps in the Brainerd Final round which will be contested on Saturday during the third Funny Car qualifying session a fan will win a flat screen TV; if a JFR Funny Car or Brittany Force’s Top Fuel dragster wins the Traxxas Shootout one fan will get a flat screen TV; if a JFR race car is No. 1 qualifier, a fan wins a washer & dryer set; and if a JFR race car wins the U.S. Nationals, a fan will win a flat screen TV. That is three TVs and one washer & dryer set up for grabs thanks to John Force Racing and BrandSource.

“Everyone wants to be the big winner this weekend. I could win three races but trust me Robert, Courtney and Brittany are looking to try and double up with a win in the Traxxas Shootout and a U.S. Nationals win on Monday. It will be tough racing but the real winner will be the fans no matter what. We are all in the Countdown and Traxxas Shootout so it will be a busy weekend. I have to thank BrandSource for stepping up and giving a TV away for the Traxxas Shootout if we get a win there,” said John Force, 16-time Funny Car champion and four-time U.S. Nationals winner.

John Force Racing has won the last six Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals and nine of the last twelve Funny Car titles at the most prestigious race on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Mello Yello Drag Racing Series qualifying will begin on Friday night at 6 p.m. at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis.
