· Chevrolet has clinched its third consecutive Verizon IndyCar Series Manufacturer Championship with the V6 2.2 liter twin turbocharged direct injected engine

o Chevrolet drivers won 13 poles during the 2014 season; the Bowtie Brand led the field to green 14 times as Castroneves started on pole at Toronto Race 2-race lined up by entrant points
