2014 Bowmanville: NASCAR Truck Race - Brad Keselowski Quotes

Brad Keselowski, owner of the No. 29 Cooper Standard F-150, watched today’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park from his motorcoach in the driver’s lot at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Ford Racing caught up with Keselowski after Ryan Blaney posted the team’s second straight series win in dramatic fashion.

BRAD KESELOWSKI, Owner -- No. 29 Cooper Standard F-150 - WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION TO HOW THAT RACE ENDED? "It was just great racing. Ryan and German put on an awesome show and a clinic of what racing should by. I’m just really proud of Ryan to get back on his feet there and get a win. I wouldn’t have thought his first win of the year would have come on a road course, but that makes it even more exciting. They certainly have some momentum back to make a run for this championship and they’re poised to strike."

HOW WAS IT FOR YOU WATCHING THAT AS OPPOSED TO BEING BEHIND THE WHEEL? "I’m a lot more comfortable driving than I am watching. That hasn’t changed, but I had to watch. It was good and I’m gonna enjoy this one."

WERE YOU YELLING AT THE TV OR COACHING HIM AS IT CAME TO THE FINISH? "I was clapping the whole time. That’s more my style."

THIS IS TWO STRAIGHT WINS FOR YOUR TEAM. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ABLE TO BE SUCCESSFUL LIKE THIS? "I think it shows that things are coming together for us fairly well, but we have to keep pushing and while we can be happy with today, we’ve got to keep working for tomorrow."

ONE DOWN, ONE TO GO? HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR CHANCES TONIGHT? "I think we have an opportunity to win tonight. I’m really excited about that with the Alliance Truck Parts Ford, so we’ll just have to push on that front as well. There’s a lot of good competition and we’ve just got to go out and run a no-mistake race like Ryan."
