2014 NHRA: Fans Have Chance For 100th Win Medal; How Would You Celebrate?

Yesterday as part of the opening ceremonies at the 60th annual Chevrolet Performance NHRA U.S. Nationals Mello Yello and The Coca-Cola Company presented Traxxas Funny Car driver Courtney Force and her team with special commemorative medals recognizing their historic 100th pro win by a female in the NHRA. The presentation was a surprise to the three-time NHRA Funny Car winner.

“This is amazing. I am so honored to be a part of this group of fantastic woman. There are so many great racers who paved the way for myself, Alexis (DeJoria), my sister Brittany (Force), Erica (Ender-Stevens) and Leah (Pritchett). We were all going for that 100th win and I am so proud my Traxxas team got that win in Topeka. I have to thank Mello Yello, the NHRA and my sponsor Traxxas for giving me this opportunity,” said Force.

As part of the presentation one lucky fan will be able to win one of the fifty commemorative medals that were produced by Mello Yello. Fans can send a video with their best celebratory reaction/dance to winning the 100th pro race by a female in NHRA history. Videos cannot be longer than 90 seconds. The best video will win the medal with a special autograph from Courtney Force. The challenge will run from today September 2nd until Wednesday, September 10th at 6 p.m. ET. The winner will be announced on Sunday morning, September 14th, at 11 a.m. ET, via Courtney’s Twitter and Instagram.

The YouTube video of the medal presentation as well the announcement of the challenge can be found here: http://youtu.be/hTD69RPkKmg?list=UU2WdZ28tdLg8P07njpbjyuQ
