RICHMOND FAST FACTS… The 22-year-old will make his first NNS appearance this weekend at the Richmond, Virginia short-track. Boat has previously turned laps at RIR in the K&N Pro-Series.

RACE REWIND… The No. 84 Chevy was last on the track at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday, August 22 where he qualified 24th for his first NNS race at “The Last Great Coliseum.” Boat battled handling all night, and was running 27th when he was caught up in an incident on lap 111 ending his night early.

CHECK OUT THE NO. 84… Chad Boat and the Billy Boat Motorsports team will race a special paint scheme this weekend at RIR. Designed by the TJ and Tom Keen and the team at Keen Parts, the scheme will celebrate the one-year anniversary of a successful business partnership between Keen Parts/Corvette.net brand and Billy Boat Performance Exhaust.

“TJ and Tom Keen have been great partners over the last year and it is great to celebrate our relationship,” said Billy Boat, team owner. “As a major distributer of Billy Boat Exhaust, they have increased their Corvette exhaust sales 10-fold and we have developed exclusive Corvette exhaust systems for the Keen Parts Brand. This growth has been a primary result of our relationship in the Nationwide Series, and we look forward to our partnership in the future.”

FROM THE DRIVER... “I’m excited to be back in the No. 84 Chevy at Richmond, and to run the special paint scheme in honor of a great partnership with the Keen Parts / CorvetteParts.net brand and Billy Boat Performance Exhaust,” said Boat. “I’ve run at Richmond twice before in the K&N Pro-Series, so I’m really looking forward to being back at the track with the NNS.
