The Team Iodaracing moved from the Portimao race track in Portugal to the one at Jerez de la Frontera in Spain to address the second part of the winter tests scheduled with Leandro Mercado.

The first day was marked by an unstable weather pattern that has prevented most of the drivers present to be able to turn. The situation has improved in the afternoon, when even the Iodaracing rider, Leandro Mercado, could begin testing his Aprilia RSV4RF.

In the half-day useful, Mercado still managed to make 69 laps, clocking his fastest passage 1.42.462, which ranks him fourth in the ranking of the times of these tests, behind Shane Byrne and ahead of Riccardo Russo.

Team Iodaracing and Leandro Mercado still try to Jerez de la Frontera in the day of tomorrow, trying to complete all the scheduled work before leaving for the last test of the season in Australia.

LEANDRO MERCADO - # 36 - SBK RIDER - JEREZ TEST DAY 1 - 1.42.462 - "Today was a good day for us, despite the morning when we couldn't do anything, because the track was wet. When I came to try, it was after lunch time, the track was still a bit 'wet and was not the best, then to the right of the day we shot well. The positive thing is that I managed to do a lot today, I begin to understand the behavior of the bike and why we were able to make several changes. My feeling has grown, although I know there is still a lot of work, but I feel that we are going the right direction. I start to push harder and I feel better and better with my Aprilia. Tomorrow I hope to find better weather and the already dry track to continue my work with the bike. "
