Watkins Glen International Unveils New Esses Party Deck For 2017 Season

Construction on a new hospitality area at Watkins Glen International is complete – and it comes with a view.

The Esses Party Deck will provide a comfortable setting with an unparalleled view of the exciting uphill Esses portion (Turns 2-3) of The Glen, with the ability to host fans and/or corporate groups beginning with the upcoming Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, June 29-July 2.

The party deck features an elevated, partially covered viewing platform, multiple seating areas, closed circuit television coverage of on-track activity, and food and beverage options for up to 250 guests. Exclusive parking access in close proximity from the deck is also available for the first 200 purchases.

“The Esses Party Deck is going to be an incredible location to take in a race at Watkins Glen International,” said WGI President Michael Printup. “Some of the most exciting moments here have taken place in that very location of the track – and now, we have built a ‘front row’ seat to that action.”
