Tanner Foust Wins Red Bull Global Rallycross Round 6 in Ottawa

Winning Red Bull Global Rallycross (GRC) Round 6 at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in Ottawa, Ontario, Tanner Foust claims his 13th win of official GRC competition after crossing the finish line first in his No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Beetle GRC over Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross teammate Scott Speed and Mitchell DeJong.

Entering his fourth season with Indianapolis-based Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross (VARX), Foust also boasts 78 heat race wins, 39 podiums, four X Games gold medals and two championships in GRC competition, in addition to his wins.

Honing his skills on and off track, Foust brings to the table a diverse background in various forms of racing that includes rallycross, drift and stunt driving, racking up accomplishments that include podiums, championships, X Games medals and world records. The first American driver to win a round of the European Rallycross Championship, Foust has been a competitive force since the sport was first introduced to the United States in 2010.

Today’s win marks the 21st GRC victory for the VARX team, amassing two series titles (‘15/Speed and ‘16/Speed), 58 podiums, 109 heat race wins and 54 top 5's in four seasons.

Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross fields two full-time entries in the Red Bull Global Rallycross series, with Foust and Scott Speed (No. 41 ORAFOL Beetle GRC).
