Juncos Racing Adds Danial Frost to Pro Mazda Line-Up at Chris Griffis Test

Juncos Racing announced today Danial Frost will join the reigning 2018 Pro Mazda Champions for the Eighth Annual Chris Griffis Memorial Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Frost is the second driver to be announced to the Juncos Racing Pro Mazda driver line-up.

Singapore native Danial Frost is set to make his Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires debut with Juncos Racing on the 2.439 mile, 14-Turn road course located at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Frost made his Mazda Road to Indy debut this year in the 2018 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda .

Over the past three years the 17-year-old has recorded 32 podiums, five poles, and nine wins in various formula series.

“I am feeling ecstatic to be testing with Juncos Racing,” said Frost. “this will be a big opportunity for me to be able to test with them. Hopefully everything goes well for my first debut in the Pro Mazda series and with the team. I am excited to be able to test with a championship winning car and winning team. Since we are moving to the U.S., the timing is just perfect. The car will be a big move on aero and power compared to the USF2000 car, however I have some experience with higher downforce cars like the FIA F3 car.”

Team Owner Ricardo Juncos looks forward to adding Frost to the Pro Mazda driver line-up. “We are thrilled to be working with another young talent getting into the Pro Mazda car for the first time. Our goal as a team is to help advance young drivers through the Mazda Road to Indy ladder system and on up to the Verizon IndyCar Series. We are looking forward to the opportunity to work with Danial (Frost) who has an impressive background with only a few years in open-wheel series. I want to thank Danial, his family, and his sponsors for choosing Juncos Racing.”
