By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers

In front of 40,000, Regan Smith and his No. 10 Hendrickcars.com Chevrolet won the 18th Annual Ford EcoBoost 300, his first victory in 103 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. This is his first start of 2012 with his last start back on July 7, 2007. Smith will run a full schedule with JR Motorsports in 2013. Smith's previous best finish was fifth, three times. This is Smith's first victory and first top-10 finish in three races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Grabbing second, Kyle Busch and his No. 54 Monster Energy posted his fifth top-10 finish in six races at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Busch ended his streak of eight consecutive seasons with a victory.

In third, Brendan Gaughan and his No. 33 South Point Chevrolet posted his second top-10 finish in three races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Sam Hornish Jr. and his No. 12 Alliance Truck Parts Dodge was fourth with Austin Dillon and his No. 3 Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Boats Chevrolet rounding out the top five.

Ricky Stenhouse won his second consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series championship by 23 points over Elliott Sadler.

Austin Dillon won the Sunoco Rookie of the Year. He joins Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle as the only drivers to win the rookie of the year in both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series.
